Preliminary task
This is the correct example on the 180 degree camera angle. This is a good example of a prelim because it doesn't have any continuity and it flows together nicely. We will use this technique in our opening sequence because it is a good way to film 2 actors having a conversation. This allows the audience to understand a sense of perspective for where the two characters and where they are located in the room throughout. We have use a variety of clips to make sure our audience don't get bored and also this allows them to see both characters facial expressions. We have mainly used a neutral mid-shot so you can see both actors faces and can see what their body language is telling us.
This is the wrong example for the 180 degree angle rule. We will avoid doing this because it makes it look like the actor is in the same place which makes them seem like they are in the same position as the person they are talking to. Within the clip we have filled it with continuity errors as they were made to give a bad example of the preliminary task that we were set. We have done this to ensure that we will not do this in our filming.
These two photos show the 180 degree rule. This makes the conversation seem more real and you will be able to clearly tell where about's each character are and who there talking to.
